새벽빛 찬란히

갈릴리로
가시려고

제자들
버려두지
않으시려고

어둠을 이기셨네

무덤을 비우셨네,

새벽빛
찬란히도

그늘진
산자락에서도

꽃으로 피어나

안개
너울진
강기슭에서도

빛으로 망울져
하늘을 깨워내셨네

세상을, 씨앗을
틔워내셨네

새 움
가지마다
눈 떠올 제

죽음에서
생명을 피워낸

죄악에서
천국을 길어올린

부활의 힘찬 숨결

그때에도
새롭게
비취었었네

이제에도
푸릇하게
쏟아져왔네

햇살
향그러운
동산에서

달빛
다문다문 열린
버들가지
아래서

날 만나 주시려,

살려내시려

죽음 든 돌무덤
깨뜨리셨네,

영원히

새벽빛
찬란히도

어둠을 몰아내셨네

As it is written:

is no one
righteous,

not even one;

is no one

who
understands;

there
is no one

seeks God.

have turned
away,

they have
together
become

worthless;

there
is no one

who
does good,

not even one.”

“Their throats
are open
graves;

their tongues
practice
deceit.”

“The poison
of vipers is
on their

mouths are
full of
cursing

feet are swift
to shed

ruin
and misery
mark their
ways,

the way of
peace

they do not

we know
that

whatever
the law
says,

it says
to those
who are under
the law,

so that

every mouth
may be
silenced

and

whole world
held

accountable
to God.

Therefore

no one
will be declared
righteous

God’s sight

the works of
the law;

rather,

through
the law

we
become
conscious of
our sin.

Righteousness
Through
Faith

But

now
apart from
the law

the
righteousness
of God

has
been
made known,

to
which
the Law and
the Prophets
testify.

righteousness
is

given
through

faith
in Jesus Christ

to
all who
believe.

There is
no difference

between
Jew and
Gentile,

for
all have
sinned

and

fall short of
the glory of

by his grace

the redemption

I stand at the Door and Knock

Revelation 3:15-22

15

I know
your deeds,

that
you are

neither

cold

nor

hot.

I wish
you were

either

one or
the other!

16

So, because
you are
lukewarm

—neither
hot nor cold—

I am about to
spit you
out

of
my mouth.

17

You say,

‘I am rich;

I have acquired
wealth

and
do not need
a thing.’

But
you do not
realize that you
are

wretched,

pitiful,

poor,

blind

and

naked.

18

I
counsel
you to buy
from
me

gold
refined
in the fire,

so you can
become
rich;

and

white clothes

to wear,

so you can cover

your shameful

nakedness;

and
salve to put on
your eyes,

so you can see.

Those whom
I love

I rebuke

and discipline.

be earnest

repent.

Here I am!

stand
at the door

나약하거나

가지지 못한
사람을

짓누르거나
밟는 비겁한
사람

권위가 있고
능력이 있는
사람에게

아부와
아첨을 하는
비굴한 사람

사회의 질서를
어지럽히는

사람들이다.

Comfort for God’s People

40:1

Comfort,

comfort my people,

says your God.

2

Speak  tenderly
to Jerusalem,

and
proclaim to her

that
her hard service
has been completed,

that
her sin has been
paid for,

that
she has received
from the Lord’s hand

double
for all her sins.

3

A voice of one calling:

“In the wilderness prepare

the way for the Lord

make straight

in the desert

a highway

for our God.

Jesus shows His crucifixion wounds to doubting Thomas.

4

Every valley
shall be raised up,

every
mountain and
hill made low;

the rough ground
shall become level,

the rugged places
a plain.

5

And
the glory of the Lord
will be revealed,

and
all people
will see it together.

For
the mouth of
the Lord has spoken.”

6

A voice
says,

“Cry out.”

And
I said,

“What shall I cry?”

“All people are like grass,

and all their

faithfulness is

like the flowers

of the field.

7

The grass withers

and the flowers fall,

because

the breath of the Lord

blows on them.

Surely

the people are grass.

8

The grass withers

and

the flowers fall,

but

the word of our God

endures forever.”

You

who bring
good news to Zion,

go up
on a high mountain.

You

who bring
good news to Jerusalem,

lift up

your voice

with a shout,

lift it up,

do not be afraid;

say
to the towns of
Judah,

“Here is your God!”

See,

the Sovereign Lord

comes with power,

and

he rules with

a mighty arm.

See,

his reward is with him,

and his recompense

accompanies him.

He

tends

his flock like

a shepherd:

He

gathers the lambs

in his arms

and carries them

close to his heart;

he gently leads those

that have young.

Who
has measured

the waters
in the hollow of his hand,

or
with the breadth
of his hand marked off
the heavens?

Who
has held the dust
of the earth

in a basket,

or
weighed
the mountains on the scales

and the hills in
a balance?

13

Who
can fathom

the Spirit of the Lord,

or
instruct
the Lord as his counselor?

14

Whom
did the Lord consult
to enlighten him,

and who taught him
the right way?

Who was it
that taught him knowledge,

or showed him
the path of understanding?

15

Surely

the nations are like

a drop in a bucket;

they are regarded as

dust on the scales;

he weighs the islands

as though they were

fine dust.

16

Lebanon is not
sufficient for altar fires,

nor its animals
enough for burnt offerings.

17

Before him
all the nations are
as nothing;

they are
regarded by him
as worthless

and less than

nothing.

18

With whom, then,

will you compare God?

To what image

will you liken him?

19

As for an idol,
a metalworker casts it,

and a goldsmith
overlays it with gold

and fashions
silver chains for it.

20

A person
too poor to present such
an offering

selects wood
that will not rot;

they look for
a skilled worker

to set up an idol

that will not topple.

21

Do you not know?

Have you not heard?

Has it not been told you

from the beginning?

Have you not understood

since the earth was founded?

22

He
sits enthroned
above the circle of
the earth,

and
its people are like
grasshoppers.

He stretches out
the heavens like a canopy,

and
spreads them out
like a tent to live in.

23

He brings
princes to naught

and
reduces
the rulers of this world

to nothing.

24

No sooner
are they planted,

no sooner
are they sown,

no sooner
do they take root
in the ground,

than
he blows on them
and they wither,

and
a whirlwind
sweeps them away
like chaff.

25

“To whom

will you compare me?

Or who is my equal?”

says the Holy One.

26

Lift up
your eyes

and look to
the heavens:

Who created
all these?

He who brings out

the starry host one by one

and calls forth
each of them by name.

Because of

his great power

and mighty strength,

not one of them

is missing.

27

Why do you
complain, Jacob?

Why do you say,
Israel,

“My way is
hidden from the Lord;

my cause is
disregarded

by my God”?

28

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?

The Lord is

the everlasting God,

the Creator

of the ends of the earth.

He will not

grow tired or weary,

and his understanding

no one can fathom.

29

He gives

strength

to the weary

and increases

the power of the weak.

30

Even youths

grow tired and weary,

and young men

stumble and fall;

31

but

those who

hope in the Lord

will renew

their strength.

They will soar

on wings like eagles;

they will run

and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.

궁핍하여 이런 것을
드리지 못하는 자는

썩지 않는
나무를 택하고

공교한 장인을 구하여
우상을 만들어서

흔들리지 않도록
세우느니라

너희가
알지 못하였느냐

너희가
듣지 못하였느냐

태초부터
너희에게 전하지
아니하였느냐

땅의 기초가
창조될 때부터

너희가 깨닫지 못하였느냐

그는

땅 위 궁창에

앉으시나니

땅의 거민들은

메뚜기 같으니라

거할 천막 같이 베푸셨고

귀인들을 폐하시며

세상의 사사들을

너희는

눈을 높이 들어

누가 이 모든 것을

창조하였나 보라

주께서는

수효대로 만상을 이끌어 내시고

각각 그 이름을 부르시나니

그의 권세가 크고

그의 능력이 강하므로

하나도 빠짐이 없느니라

27

야곱아
네가 어찌하여 말하며

이스라엘아
네가 어찌하여 이르기를

내 사정은
여호와께 숨겨졌으며

원통한 것은
내 하나님에게서 수리하심을

받지 못한다 하느냐

너는
알지 못하였느냐
듣지 못하였느냐

영원하신

땅 끝까지
창조하신 자는

피곤치 아니하시며

피곤한 자에게는
능력을 주시며
