The Spirit of Truth and The Spirit of Falsehood

1 John 4

On Denying the Incarnation

4

Dear friends,

do not believe
every spirit,

but
test the spirits
to see whether they are
from God,

because
many false prophets
have gone out into
the world.

2

This is how
you can recognize
the Spirit of
God:

Every spirit

that acknowledges

that Jesus Christ has come

in the flesh is

from God,

And

every spirit

that confesseth

not

that

Jesus Christ

is come in the flesh

is not

of God:

and
this is that

spirit of antichrist,

whereof ye have heard
that it should come;

and even now
already is it in
the world.

but every spirit
that does not acknowledge
Jesus is not from
God.

This is

the spirit

of the antichrist,

which
you have heard is
coming

and
even now is already
in the world.

4

You,
dear children,
are from God

and have
overcome them,

because

the one who is in you

is greater

than
the one
who is in the world.

5

They are from the world
and therefore speak from
the viewpoint of
the world,

and
the world
listens to them.

6

We are from God,

and
whoever knows
God

listens to us;

but
whoever is not
from God

does not

listen to us.

This is how we recognize

the Spirit of truth

and the spirit of

falsehood.

God’s Love and Ours

Dear friends,
let us love one another,

for love comes

from God.

Everyone
who loves has been
born of
God

and knows God.

8

Whoever
does not love

does not
know God,

because

God is love.

9

This is how
God showed
his love among
us:

He sent
his one and only
Son into the world

that we might
live through
him.

10

This is love:

not that we loved God,

but that he loved us

and sent his Son

as an atoning sacrifice

for our sins.

11

Dear friends,

since God so loved us,

we also ought to

love one another.

12

No one has ever seen God;

but if we love one another,

God lives in us

and his love is

made complete in us.

13

This is how we know

that we live in him

and he in us:

He has given us of

his Spirit.

14

And we have seen

and testify that

the Father has sent his Son

to be the Savior of

the world.

15

If
anyone
acknowledges
that

Jesus is the Son of God,

God lives in them

and they in God.

16

And so we know

and rely on the love

God has for us.

God is love.

Whoever lives in love

lives in God,

and God in them.

17

This is how
love is made complete
among us

so that we will have
confidence on the day
of judgment:

In this world
we are like Jesus.

18

There is no fear in love.

But perfect love

drives out fear,

because fear has to do

with punishment.

The one who fears is not

made perfect

in love.

19

We love

because he first loved us.

20

Whoever claims to love God

yet hates a brother

or sister is a liar.

For whoever
does not love
their brother and sister,
whom they have seen,

cannot love God,

whom
they have not
seen.

21

And he has given us
this command:

Anyone
who loves God
must also love their brother
and sister.

거짓 선지자가

하나님의 영을

시인하는 영마다

하나님께 속한 것이요

예수를 시인하지 아니하는 영마다

하나님께 속한 것이 아니니

이것이 곧 적그리스도의 영이니라

오리라 한 말을 너희가

지금 벌써
세상에 있느니라

자녀들아

너희는
하나님께 속하였고

또 그들을
이기었나니

이는 너희 안에
계신 이가

세상에 있는 자보다
크심이라

그들은
세상에 속한 고로

세상에 속한 말을 하매

세상이
그들의 말을
듣느니라

4:6

우리는하나님께 속하였으니

하나님을 아는 자는
우리의 말을
듣고

하나님께
속하지 아니한
자는

우리의 말을
듣지 아니하나니

진리의 영과

미혹의 영을

이로써 아느니라

4:7

사랑하는 자들아

우리가 서로 사랑하자

사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니

사랑하는 자마다

하나님으로부터 나서

하나님을 알고

4:8

사랑하지 아니하는 자는

하나님을 알지 못하나니

이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라

4:9

하나님의 사랑이

우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니

하나님이 자기의 독생자를

세상에 보내심은

그로 말미암아 우리를

살리려 하심이라

4:10

사랑은 여기 있으니

우리가 하나님을

사랑한 것이 아니요

하나님이 우리를 사랑하사

우리 죄를 속하기 위하여

화목 제물로 그 아들을 보내셨음이라

4:11

사랑하는 자들아

하나님이 이같이 우리를

사랑하셨은즉

우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이

마땅하도다

4:12

어느 때나
하나님을 본 사람이
없으되

만일 우리가
서로 사랑하면

하나님이
우리 안에 거하시고

그의 사랑이 우리 안에

온전히 이루어지느니라

4:13

그의 성령을

우리에게 주시므로

우리가 그 안에 거하고

그가 우리 안에 거하시는 줄을

아느니라

4:14

아버지가 아들을

세상의 구주로 보내신 것을

우리가 보았고 또 증언하노니

4:15

누구든지

예수를 하나님의 아들이라

시인하면

하나님이
그의 안에 거하시고

그도 하나님 안에
거하느니라

4:16

하나님이
우리를 사랑하시는
사랑을

우리가
알고 믿었노니

하나님은 사랑이시라

사랑 안에
거하는 자는

하나님 안에
거하고

하나님도
그의 안에
거하시느니라

4:17

이로써
사랑이 우리에게
온전히 이루어진 것은

우리로 심판 날에
담대함을 가지게 하려
함이니

주께서
그러하심과 같이

우리도
이 세상에서
그러하니라

4:18

사랑 안에
두려움이 없고

온전한 사랑이
두려움을 내쫓나니

두려움에는
형벌이 있음이라

두려워하는 자는

사랑 안에서

온전히 이루지
못하였느니라

4:19

우리가 사랑함은

그가 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨음이라

4:20

누구든지
하나님을 사랑하노라
하고

그 형제를 미워하면

이는 거짓말하는 자니

보는 바
그 형제를 사랑하지
아니하는 자는

보지 못하는 바
하나님을 사랑할 수
없느니라

4:21

우리가
이 계명을 주께
받았나니

하나님을
사랑하는 자는

또한 그 형제를
사랑할지니라

고독을 위한 의자

홀로 있는 시간은
쓸쓸하지만 아름다운
호수가 된다.

바쁘다고 밀쳐두었던 나 속의 나를
조용히 들여다볼 수 있으므로,

여럿 속에 있을 땐
미처 되새기지 못했던

삶의 깊이와 무게를
고독 속에 헤아려볼 수 있으므로

내가 해야 할 일
안 해야 할 일 분별하며

내밀한 양심의 소리에
더 깊이 귀기울일 수 있으므로,

그래
혼자 있는 시간이야말로
내가나를 돌보는 시간

여럿 속의 삶을
더 잘 살아 내가 위해

고독 속에
나를 길들이는 시간이다.

Who are my mother and my brothers?

Mark 3:28-35

28 

Truly I tell you,
 people can be forgiven
all their sins

and
 every slander
they utter,

29 

but
 whoever
 blasphemes

 against

 the Holy Spirit

 will

never be

 forgiven;

they

 are guilty of

 an eternal sin.”

30 

He said this
 because they were
saying,

“He has
 an impure spirit.”

31 

Then
Jesus’ mother
and brothers
arrived.

Standing
 outside,

they sent
 someone in
 to call him.

32 

A crowd was
 sitting around him,
 and they told
 him,

“Your
 mother
 and brothers are
 outside looking for
you.”

33

 “Who are my mother
 and my brothers?”
 he asked.

34 

Then
 he looked at
those seated
 in a circle around him
 and said,

“Here are
 my mother and
my brothers!

Whoever does
 God’s will
 is

 brother and
 sister and mother.”

귀울음

귀울음

조용한 곳에 있노라면
내 귀에선
윙윙 소리가 납니다.

병원에선
직업병에
걸렸다 합니다.

전에는
열 받은 모터소리인 듯
울려오더니만

오늘밤은
“인간답게 살고 싶다”고
외쳐대는

이 땅의 소리로
자꾸만
울려와서

차마,
쉬이
잠들 수가 없습니다.

조용한 곳에 있노라면
내 귀에선
윙윙 소리가 납니다.

병원에선
당장
고침을 받으라 합니다.
