빛이
스며드는
곳에는

기쁨이 있다.

빛이
스며들지
않는 곳에는

미래를
꿈꾸는

희망이 있다.

빛을
찾아가는
나그네길에는

저물지
않는

태양이 있다.

As it is written:

“There
is no one
righteous,

not even one;

11

there
is no one

who
understands;

there
is no one

who
seeks God.

12

All
have turned
away,

they have
together
become

worthless;

there
is no one

who
does good,

not even one.”

13

“Their throats
are open
graves;

their tongues
practice
deceit.”

“The poison
of vipers is
on their
lips.”

14

“Their
mouths are
full of
cursing

and
bitterness.”

15

“Their
feet are swift
to shed
blood;

16

ruin
and misery
mark their
ways,

17

and

the way of
peace

they do not
know.”

18

“There
is no fear of
God

before
their eyes.”

19

Now
we know
that

whatever
the law
says,

it says
to those
who are under
the law,

so that

every mouth
may be
silenced

and

the
whole world
held

accountable
to God.

20

Therefore

no one
will be declared
righteous

in
God’s sight

by
the works of
the law;

rather,

through
the law

we
become
conscious of
our sin.

Righteousness
Through
Faith

21

But

now
apart from
the law

the
righteousness
of God

has
been
made known,

to
which
the Law and
the Prophets
testify.

22

This
righteousness
is

given
through

faith
in Jesus Christ

to
all who
believe.

There is
no difference

between
Jew and
Gentile,

23

for
all have
sinned

and

fall short of
the glory of
God,

24

and

all are
justified freely
by his grace

through
the redemption
that came
by

Christ Jesus.

우리가 알거니와

율법이 말하는
바는

율법 아래에 있는
자들에게 말하는
것이니

이는

모든 입을
막고

온 세상으로

하나님의
심판 아래에

있게
하려 함이라

그러므로
율법의 행위로

그의 앞에
의롭다 하심을
얻을 육체가
없나니

율법으로는
죄를 깨달음
이니라

21

이제는
율법 외에
하나님의 한 의가
나타났으니

율법과
선지자들에게
증거를 받은
것이라

22

곧
예수 그리스도를
믿음으로
말미암아

모든
믿는 자에게
미치는

하나님의
의니

차별이 없느니라

23

모든 사람이
죄를 범하였으매

하나님의
영광에 이르지
못하더니

24

그리스도
예수 안에
있는

속량으로
말미암아

하나님의 은혜로

값 없이
의롭다 하심을

얻은 자
되었느니라

“You are
Israel’s teacher,”
said Jesus,

“and
do you not
understand these
things?

11

 Very truly
I tell you,

we
speak of
what we know,

and
we testify
to what we have
seen,

but
still you people
do not accept our
testimony.

12

I
have
spoken to you of
earthly
things

and

you do not
believe;

how then

will
you believe
if I speak of heavenly
things?

13

 No one has
ever gone into
heaven

except

the
one who
came from
heaven

the Son of Man.

14

Just as
Moses lifted up
the snake

in the wilderness,

so
the Son of Man
must be
lifted
up,

15

that
everyone
who believes
may have

eternal life
in him.”

16

 For

God
so loved
the world

that

he gave
his one and only
Son,

that

whoever
believes in
him

shall not
perish

but
have
eternal life.

17

 For

God
did not send
his Son into the
world

to
condemn

the world,

but
to save
the world

through him.

18

 Whoever
believes in
him

is
not
condemned,

but

whoever
does not
believe

stands
condemned
already

because
they have not
believed

in
the name of
God’s one

and
only Son.

19

This is the verdict:

Light
has come
into the world,

but
people loved
darkness

instead of
light

because
their deeds were
evil.

 Everyone
who does
evil

hates
the light,

and

will not
come into
the light

for
fear that
their deeds will be
exposed.

21

 But

whoever
lives by the
truth

comes into
the light,

so that

it
may be seen
plainly

that
what they
have done has been
done

in
the sight
of

God.

미워하여

따르는 자는

하나님 안에서

신발 한 짝

신발 한 짝 
    
진흙 털고,
먼지 털고,

해진 신발을
깁는다.

풀꽃을
밟았을까.
이슬냄새가
난다.

벌레를
밟았을까
쇠똥냄새가
난다.

돌멩이에 챈
신발 한 짝,

애증과
영욕의 하루는
저물었다.

지팡이여, 지팡이여,
돌베개의 꿈은
차구나.

웃음 털고
울음 털고

피곤한
육신이 잠드는
길섶.

해진 신발 한 짝
꿈꾸는 길섶.

아내의 신발 

현관 바닥에

아무렇게나
벗어 놓은

뒷굽이
삐딱하게
닳아빠진

아내의 신발

못난
신발이지만
나에겐 가장 푸근한
신발이다

현관문을 열고
들어섰을
때

아내의
신발이 있으면
마음이
놓인다

퇴근 후

현관문을
열었을
때

아내의 신발이
보이지
않으면

왠지
불안하고
우울하다

내 마음의 안식
아내의
신발

언제까지
저기 저 자리에
놓여 있을까

아내의 신발이
사라지는
날

슬픈 그날이
영원히 오지
않기를

불안한 마음에

현관에 놓인
아내의
신발을

몰래
가만히 만져
본다.
