Rejoice in the Lord!

Further,
my
brothers
and sisters,
rejoice in the Lord!
It is
no trouble
for me
to write
the same things
to you
again,
and
it is
a safeguard
for you.

Watch out
for
those
dogs,
those
evildoers,
those
mutilators of
the flesh.

For it is
we who are
the circumcision,
we who
serve
God
by his Spirit,
who
boast in
Christ Jesus,
and
who put
no confidence
in the flesh—

For,
as I have
often told you
before
and now
tell you again
even with
tears,
many live as
enemies
of
the cross of
Christ.

Their
destiny
is
destruction,
their god
is
their
stomach,
and
their glory
is
in
their
shame.
Their mind is
set on earthly
things.

But
our
citizenship
is
in heaven.
And
we
eagerly
await
a Savior
from
there,
the Lord
Jesus Christ,
21
who,
by the power
that enables
him
to
bring
everything
under his control,
will
transform
our lowly bodies
so that
they will be
like
his glorious body.

들어오지
않고

현관 앞까지
가을이 왔다.
대문 옆의
황매화를
지나
비비추를 지나
돌단풍을
지나
거실 앞
타일 바닥 위까지
가을이 왔다.
우리 집
강아지의
오른쪽 귀와
왼쪽 귀 사이로
왔다.
창 앞까지 왔다.
매미 소리와
매미 소리
사이로
돌과 돌
사이로 왔다.
우편함에서
한동안 머물다가
왔다.
친구의
엽서 속에
들어 있다가
내 손바닥
위에까지
가을이 왔다.

walk
in the way of
love,
just as
Christ loved
us
and gave
himself up for
us
as a fragrant offering
and sacrifice
to God.

But
among you
there must
not
be
even
a hint of
sexual
immorality,
or
of any kind of
impurity,
or
of greed,
because
these are
improper
for God’s
holy people.

Nor
should there be
obscenity,
foolish talk
or coarse
joking,
which are
out of place,
but rather
thanksgiving.

For of this
you can be sure:
No immoral,
impure
or greedy person –
such
a person is
an idolater
has
any
inheritance
in
the kingdom of
Christ
and of
God.

Let
no one
deceive you
with
empty words,
for because of
such things
God’s
wrath
comes on
those who
are
disobedient.
7
Therefore
do not be partners
with them.
8
For you were
once darkness,
but now
you are light
in the Lord.
Live as
children of light
9
(for
the fruit of
the light
consists
in all goodness,
righteousness
and
truth)
10
and
find out
what
pleases
the Lord.
11
Have
nothing to do
with
the
fruitless deeds
of darkness,
but
rather
expose them.
12
It is
shameful
even
to mention
what
the disobedient
do in secret.
13
But
everything
exposed
by
the light
becomes visible—
and
everything
that is illuminated
becomes
a light.
14
This is why
it is said:
“Wake up,
sleeper,
rise
from
the dead,
and
Christ
will
shine on you.”
