The LORD has Compassion
As a father has
compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion
on those who fear him;
for he knows
how we are formed,
he remembers that
we are dust.
As for man,
his days are like grass,
he flourishes like
a flower of the field;

Woe
to the city of
oppressors,
rebellious

defiled!

She obeys
no one,
she

no correction.

Lord,

draw near to
her

within her
are
roaring lions;

rulers

evening wolves,

leave
nothing for

prophets

priests

the sanctuary

violence

The Lord
within her

righteous;
he
does

destroyed
nations;

strongholds

demolished.

left their streets

correction!

her
place of refuge

corruptly

wait for

I will stand up

gather

my wrath
