어머니
나에게 티끌 하나
주지 않은 걸인들이
내게 손을 내밀때면
불쌍하다고 생각했습니다
그러나 나에게 전부를 준
어머니가 불쌍하다고
생각해본적은 없습니다
나한테 밥한번 사준
친구들과 선배들은
고마웠습니다
답례하고 싶어서 불러냅니다
그러나 날 위해 밥을 짓고
밤늦게까지 기다리는
어머니께 감사하다고
생각해본적은 없습니다
실제로 존재하지도 않는
드라마속 배우들 가정사에
그들을 대신해 눈물을 흘렸습니다
그러나 일상에 지치고
힘든 어머니를 위해
진심으로 눈물을
흘려본적이 없습니다
골방에 누워 아파하던
어머니 걱정은 제대로
한번도 해본적이 없습니다
친구와 애인에게는
사소한 잘못하나에도
미안하다고 사과하고
용서를 구했습니다
그러나 어머니에게는
잘못은 셀수도없이
많아도 용서를 구하지
않았습니다
