전기 나간 밤
갑자기 퍽,
전기가 나갔다
텔레비전 보던
엄마, 아빠
화들짝 일어나고
음악 듣던 형도
방에서 나오고
꺼져 버린
컴퓨터 게임은
내 머리 속에서
윙윙대는데
모두들
합창을 한다
“손전등 어디 있지?”
손전등을
가운데 두고
온 가족이
동그랗게
모였다

Jesus
cried out
in a loud voice,
“Eli, Eli,lema sabachthani?”
(which means
“My God,
my God,
why have you
forsaken me?”

some of those
standing
there
heard this,
they said,
“He’s calling Elijah.”

Immediately
one of them
ran
and
got a sponge.
He filled it
with wine
vinegar,
put it on a staff,
and
offered it
to Jesus to drink.

The rest said,
“Now leave him
alone.
Let’s see
if Elijah comes to
save him.”

his spirit.

curtain
