what is seen

what was visible.

소금

마음
상하지 말라고

아침에 일어나
가슴속에 가득
소금을 뿌리고 나섰다

살아가면서
제 맛 그대로
내고 살 수 없기에

처음처럼
신선한 채
남아 있을 수
없기에

쓰라린 줄
뻔히 알면서도
한 됫박 소금을 푸는
출근길 아침

오늘도
퇴근 무렵이면
간간하게 절은
가슴 위로

삶의 맛이
배어들었겠다

Wealth and Possessions

Then
I realized that
it is good and proper
for a man to eat and drink,

to find satisfaction
in his toilsome labor

God has given him —

Moreover,
when God gives
any man wealth
and possessions,

and enables him
to enjoy them,
to accept his lot

and be happy in his work —
this is a gift of God.

on the days of his life,

occupied with
gladness of heart.

사람이 하나님의 주신바
그 일평생에 먹고 마시며

추석秋夕

고향故鄕을
떠나서
바라보는
중추仲秋의 달은
그리움의 거울.

이북以北에 계신
할머니를 그리며

미주美州에 간
아내를 그리며

내가 지금
귀뚜라미처럼
추운 몸을 떨고 있다.

어디를 향해
빈 뜰이 있어
달빛은 푸르지만

이번
추석秋夕에는
단란한 가정家庭에
모일 사람은
많이 비어 있다.

가까운
친구가 찾아와도
차茶 한 잔이
고작이니

집이 있어도
비어 있는
가정家庭이

거리의
다방茶房보다도
못하구나.

세월이여,
지금은

내
가슴 속에도
낙엽落葉이 진다.

알알이
익어가는 황금빛
들녘

땀과 자연이
빚어낸 풍성한
가을 식탁

코스모스
활짝 핀
가을 길목

짝지어
찾아드는
온갖 동물

새콤달콤한
과일 향기에
빠져든다

삼천리
우리 강산에
기쁜 소식

무르익는
이 가을
축복을 찬양하고

우리의
부푼

꿈

힘찬 소리
하늘 높다.
