The Lord Almighty is with us

Psalm 46

1 

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

2 

Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into t
he heart of the sea,

3 

though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake
with their surging.

4 

There is a river
whose streams make glad
the city of God,

the holy place
where the Most High
dwells.

5 

God
is within her,
she will not fall;

God
will help her
at break of day.

6 

Nations are
in uproar,

kingdoms fall;

he lifts
his voice,
the earth melts.

7 

The Lord
Almighty is
with us;

the God
of *Jacob(Israel)

 is
our fortress.

8 

Come and see
what the Lord has
done,

the desolations
he has brought on
the earth.

9 

He makes
wars cease
to the ends of
the earth.

He breaks the bow
and shatters the spear;

he burns
the shields
with fire.

10 

He says,

“Be still,
and know that
I am God;

I will be exalted
among the
nations,

I will be exalted
in the earth.”

11 

The Lord
Almighty is with us;

the God
of *Jacob(Israel)
is our fortress.

힘이시니

환난 중에 만날
큰 도움이시라

땅이 변하든지

산이 흔들려
바다 가운데에
빠지든지

바닷물이
솟아나고 뛰놀든지

두려워하지

한 시내가 있어
나뉘어 흘러

하나님의성
곧 지존하신 이의
성소를 기쁘게 하도다

하나님이
그 성 중에 계시매
성이 흔들리지 아니할
것이라

새벽에

하나님이
도우시리로다

뭇 나라가 떠들며
왕국이 흔들렸더니

그가
소리를 내시매
땅이 녹았도다

만군의 여호와께서
우리와 함께 하시니

와서

여호와의
행적을 볼지어다

그가 땅을
황무지로 만드셨도다

그가

전쟁을 쉬게 하심이여

창을 끊으며

이르시기를

너희는
가만히 있어
내가하나님 됨을
알지어다

내가
뭇 나라 중에서
높임을 받으리라

내가
세계 중에서
높임을 받으리라
하시도다

만군의
여호와께서

Psalm 34

I
will
extol
the Lord

at all times;

his
praise
will always be
on my lips.

2

I
will
glory
in the Lord;

let
the afflicted
hear

and
rejoice.

3

Glorify

the Lord

with me;

 let us
exalt his name
together.

4

I
sought
the Lord,

and

he
answered
me;

   he
delivered me
from all my
fears.

5

Those who
look to him are
radiant;


   their
faces are
never covered

with
shame.

6

This poor man
called,

and

the Lord
heard him;

he
saved him

out of all his

troubles.

7

The angel of
the Lord

encamps

around those
who fear
him,

 and

he

delivers

them.

8

Taste and see

that
the Lord is
good;

blessed is
the one who takes
refuge in
him.

9

Fear
the Lord,

you
his holy
people,

for
those who
fear
him

lack nothing.

10

The lions
may grow weak
and hungry,

    but
those who
seek the Lord

lack no good thing.

11

Come,
my children,
listen to me;

I will teach you
the fear of
the Lord.

12

Whoever of you
loves life

 and
desires
to see

many good days,

13

keep

your tongue

from

evil

  and

your lips

from

telling lies.

14

Turn from evil
and do good;

 seek

peace

and
pursue it.

15

The eyes
of the Lord

are

on
the righteous,

 and
his ears are
attentive

to
their cry;

16

but

the face of
the Lord
is

against

those who

do evil,

to
blot out
their name from
the earth.

17

The righteous
cry out,

and the Lord
hears
them;

    he
delivers them

from
all their
troubles.

18

The Lord is
close to
the brokenhearted

and
saves those
who are crushed
in spirit.

19

The righteous
person

may have
many troubles,

   but

the Lord

delivers
him

from them
all;

20

he protects
all his bones,

  not
one of them
will be broken.

21

Evil
will slay
the wicked;

   the foes
of the righteous

will be
condemned.

22

The Lord
will rescue
his servants;

   no one

who
takes
refuge in him

will be
condemned

The Mountain Fortress

The
sinners
in Zion are
terrified;

trembling grips
the godless:

“Who of us
can dwell with
the consuming
fire?

Who of us
can dwell with
everlasting
burning?”

Those
who

walk
righteously

and

speak
what is right,

who
reject gain
from extortion

and

keep
their hands
from accepting
bribes,

who
stop
their ears
against plots of
murder

shut
their eyes
against

contemplating evil—

they are
the ones

who will
dwell on
the heights,

whose refuge
will be

fortress.
